New Visions 7 June – 28th June 09 Graduate Show

 

The Graduates of 2009, from the Welsh School of Architectural Glass, Swansea Metropolitan University, are showcasing an exciting and innovative exhibition of contemporary and traditional glass. 

The exhibition affords the opportunity to experience the dynamic work of a new generation of diverse architectural glass artists and features an eclectic mix of exhibits, highlighting both two and three dimensional concepts. Contemporary work inspired by themes that range from lenticular technology, industry and community projects juxtaposed with the more traditional language of stained glass. 

The Graduates invite you to share their artistic expression and ‘New Vision’ for Architectural Glass.

It isn’t often we get international glass stars showing in Wales, I couldn’t find any mention of the exhibition on the museums web site but the invite sent to me show work by Colin Reid and Roisin de Buitlear. These are both well worth seeing.
